Delegates are requested to send their querries / booking / requirements regarding transit accommodation in Delhi and Tour programme to all the mail IDs given above. In case of any problem faced during booking, please contact CHAIRMAN, ICAME 2007 ( icame@iitk.ac.in ).

Their responsibilities include travel arrangements between Delhi and Kanpur, Hotel accommodation in Delhi (if required). Organised tour packages in India and International Travel (if required). The organizers of the ICAME 2007 however, do not assume any responsibility and financial obligation regarding the transactions with Pearl International Tours & Travels Ltd.

How to Reach Kanpur

Lucknow and Kanpur are the Satellite towns.

The nearest Airport is Lucknow , (65 kms) from Kanpur city. Lucknow is well connected to all the major cities:
New Delhi / Kolkata / Mumbai / Chennai / Hyderabad / Bangalore by air.
North zone : Delhi , Lucknow , Amritsar
West zone : Mumbai ( Bombay )
South zone : Bangalore , Chennai, Hyderabad
East zone : Kolkata
The taxi services are available from Lucknow airport and takes about 2 hours to reach IIT Kanpur.

Minibus services shall be made available from Lucknow airport and Kanpur central railway station to IIT Kanpur at fixed intervals during the conference.

ROAD (TAXI)

IIT Kanpur campus is located on GT Road at Kalyanpur, about 16 Km west of Kanpur city. If you are coming to Kanpur by train, please exit from platform no. 1. Unfortunately due to the varied arrival times of different speakers, we are unable to arrange a taxi pickup for all of you. So please take a Taxi or an autorickshaw from the Station.

For an autorickshaw: fare will range between Rs. 100 and Rs. 125 depending upon the time of your arrival.
The Taxi will cost about Rs. 180/- during daytime and Rs. 250/- after 10:00 pm and before 06:00 am. 
You can find out about the trains arriving at Kanpur from your location at this website. The time taken to come from Kanpur Central station to the IIT campus is about 40 minutes.

Kanpur-City, Railway station named as Kanpur Central , is well connected to all the major cities of INDIA .

Some of the important trains connecting major cities are:
