The history of EEA in Cultural Activities has not been that vibrant. However, we intend to break the shackles and bring some colors to the life of Batti students. Here is a tentative schedule of the events/activities we intend to organize in the year 2003-04.The dates of these events/activities are contingent.

Fresher’s Nite

Who says that the interaction between students and faculty is only limited to lecture halls? Following the tradition this is the first stage where the first year students get to mingle with the faculty. If you think that dance, music and choreo is not enough for you, just chat along with the faculty on a high tea that follows.

Departmental Picnic

This is the event that each one of us is eagerly waiting for. However, with a huge family such as ours it will not be possible to include everyone (and we are very sorry for that). A maximum of 150 students (this might increase) would be allowed with preferences given to the seniors. We do promise a day filled with fun and frolic.

Phatta Tournament

Phatta is no doubt the favorite sport of IITK. To bring some refreshment amidst heavy semesters to the strenuous students of Electrical Engineering Department, EEA will organize a phatta tournament in the even semester between the students and the faculty. Wanna bet who is going to win?

Farewell

We bid adieu to our seniors in the farewell organized by EEA in April 2004. The party will be marked by a cultural show followed by a dinner. In the midst the stage would be given to the seniors (let your imagination go wild to think what could happen next).
