CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS DRIVE

The alumni of the Electrical Engineering Department have been successfully organizing a Conference Proceedings Drive for the EE/ACES Library for the past several years. This drive has been very successful in some areas of EE and has provided an invaluable resource to our faculty, research staff and students.

Our Conference Proceedings Drive has been very successful in the areas of Communications and Computer Networks, Signal Processing, Electromagnetics and Microwaves and VLSI-CAD. The drive in these areas is being coordinated by:
We periodically send out appeals and reminders about this drive on IITKNET (iitknet@guru.stanford.edu). If you think you can contribute to this drive, please drop a line to one of the contact persons listed above. If you want to contribute in an area not mentioned above or if you want to start a similar drive in your area of interest, please send a mail to Sanjay K. Bose (skb@iitk.ac.in). We will try to provide you with whatever help or information that you may need in this regard.

The proceedings collected in this fashion are entered as a gift from our alumni with the names of the donors mentioned wherever possible.

ACCESS TO THE CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS COLLECTION:

In order to provide easy access to this reference material, it is kept on a no-issue basis in the EE/ACES Library in the ACES Building. Even though these conference proceedings cannot be issued out by anybody, we do allow faculty, research staff and students to take them out overnight for xeroxing purposes. For this, the person issuing it must leave behind his/her Identity Card with the Librarian, Mrs. Ratna Kaushik - no exceptions are made to this rule for anybody including the faculty. It is of course possible for anybody to refer to these in the Library itself during office hours on working days.

Please note that the Librarian has been requested to check any material returned after an over-night issue. This is to prevent mishandling and torn pages. Please do return the material promptly the next day so that others do not face any inconvenience. We will limit overnight issue if we have any problems in this regard from anybody.
