Science Workshops in Chhatishgarh Schools

We conducted four science workshops in Chhatishgarh, two of them on Human Digestive System in (1) St. Paul’s H. S. School, Raipur (an urban school), (2) Govt. H. S. School, Mandhar (a village school), and the other two on day-night, seasons, and eclipses in (1) Govt. School, Chowbe Colony, Raipur (semi urban school) (2) Govt. School, Selud (village school). Teacher Workshops in Swami Vivekananda Vidayalaya, Lodhar

We conducted a week-long teachers’ training workshop on human body, day-night and seasons in Swami Vivekananda Vidyalaya, a school run by Jagriti Bal Vikas Samiti. It was held from 23nd June 2003 to 27th June 2003. We contacted many schools and Eklavya for participation. We managed to gather 16 teachers.  more...

Respiratory & Circulatory System Workshop in Swami Vivekananda Vidayalaya, Lodhar

This workshop has been designed for school kids, ranging from Seventh to Eight Standard students, to give them the introduction to a very vital system working inside their body. We conducted a science workshop on  working model of for children and teachers of ' Jagriti 'school at village Lodhar. The theme of the workshop was Human Digestive System. The programme was organized in collaboration with Media Lab Asia, IIT Kanpur.
