Applications on plain paper are invited for one position of Senior Project Mechanic in the salary range Rs. 9000-900-18000 in the sponsored research project BARC/ME/2015 209 titled "Studies on heat transfer during condensation of steam- hydrogen mixture inside closed containments". This post is purely temporary for a period of one year. Appointment may be terminated at any time depending on the requirement of this project and performance of the candidate.

Educational Minimum Qualifications:

High school + ITI (Machinist) + 05 years of relevant experience

Experience:

• Hands on experience of fabrication, fitting, machining, and handling of boiler mountings, accessories and related experimental set- ups in any mechanical engineering research laboratory,

Desirable:

• Exposure of high end research laboratory.

• Material procurement and of purchase in local market.

The post is purely temporary and can be extended on the basis of performance as per institute rule. No TA/DA will be provided to the candidates called for the test/interview. Only short listed candidates will be called for test/interview.
