Applications are invited for the post of “Project Scientist” for a period of one year or till the end of project whichever is earlier in the INSA sponsored project entitled “On vibrations and acoustics in ancient and medieval India: focusing on design and construction of Indian Stringed Instruments”. The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in Sanskrit and good exposure to Musicology in Indian Studies.

The interested candidates are requested to submit their curriculum vitae containing information regarding their degree, and work experience. Applicants who do not meet the minimum qualification and the work experience will not be called for the interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

The period of appointment may be extended based on requirement.
