Applications are invited for the following contractual post to work on the SERB sponsored project titled, “Investigation of Magnetization Switching Dynamics in Magnetoelectric Heterostructures” in the department of Physics. The details of the qualification and requirements are given below:

Name of the Post: Technical Assistant
Number of positions: One
Minimum Educational Qualification: B.Sc (in Physics)/3 Years Engg. Diploma

Desirable: M.Sc. (Physics/Electronics)/ /B.Tech (Electrical/Electronics Engineering) with good academic record.

  • The candidate is expected to have knowledge in vacuum technology, cryogenics systems, and electronics meters.
  • The candidate should have technical skill in maintenance of lab equipment, fixing/repairing of electronics and mechanical parts of scientific equipment.
  • The candidate should have working knowledge of MS-Word, Excel & PowerPoint.

Job description: The selected candidate will be assigned lab related work which will include preparation of thin films and their characterization.

Salary: Rs. 20,000 + 16% HRA

Duration of initial appointment: One year (may be extended for another year upon satisfactory performance and availability of fund).

Last date for receipt of application: 14 days from the date of advertisement.
