Applications are invited for Project Associate/Senior Project Associate in the following sponsored projects tenable at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Kanpur under the supervision of the undersigned.

1. "Large-Eddy Simulation of Transitional Flow over a Low-Pressure Turbine Blade"

These projects are from national initiatives and the candidates who would work on the project will be benefited by interactions with national labs and experts in the field of mechanical and aerospace engineering. Good candidates may be encouraged for higher studies through these projects.

Salary Range: Rs.18000-1800-36000 for Senior Project Associate and Rs.15000-1500-30000 for Project Associate depending on qualification and experience. The position is purely temporary and the project duration is up to one years.

Qualifications:
Senior Project Associate: M.Tech in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering with specialization in Fluid Mechanics/CFD/Turbomachinery/Thermal Science. Knowledge of programming is desirable.

Project Associate: B.Tech or MTech in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering with specialization in Fluid Mechanics/CFD/Turbomachinery/Thermal Science. Knowledge of programming is desirable.
