Applications are invited for the post of Project Mechanic, NWTF IIT Kanpur. The Post is temporary and on contractual basis for a period of one year. The period may be extended based on performance and requirement.

Salary range: Salary: INR 10000-900-26200 per month (consolidated)

Minimum Qualification: High School + ITI or High School +5 years of relevant experience, in a Govt. organization or in an educational Institute or in an organization of repute + experience in preparation of experimental setup for wind tunnel testing and calibration for wind tunnel applications.

Desirable Qualification:-

• The candidate should have good knowledge of wind tunnel model preparation, fabrication of pressure model, fitting & assembly of wind tunnel models and must be capable to repair thin pressure port
• Familiar with basic experimental technique for wind tunnel testing
• Handle various instrument for wind tunnel including computers & other peripheral devices
