Advertisement for the post of Senior Project Mechanic

Applications are invited for one position of ‘Senior Project Mechanic’ in the salary range Rs. 9000-900-18000 in the sponsored research project IFCIPAR/ME/2017003 titled “Development of Loop Heat Pipe for Avionics and Terrestrial applications”. This post is purely temporary for a period of one year. Appointment may be terminated at any time depending on the requirement of this project and performance of the candidate.

Educational Minimum Qualifications:

High school + ITI (Machinist) + 05 years of relevant experience

Experience:

• Hands on experience of fabrication, fitting, machining, and handling of vacuum equipment, furnaces, heat pipe fabrication, vibration platform their accessories and related experimental set- ups in any mechanical engineering research laboratory.

Desirable:

• Exposure of high end research laboratory in Thermal Fluid Science.
• Material procurement and of purchase in local market.
• Design and fabrication of student research projects.

The post is purely temporary and can be extended on the basis of performance of the candidate as per institute rule. No TA/DA will be provided to the candidates called for the test/interview. Only short listed candidates will be called for test/interview.
