There is an urgent need of a Project Scientist for a R&D project. The post is purely temporary and on contractual basis. Here are the details.

Minimum qualifications

Ph.D. or M. Tech. with proper experience and capabilities. The applicant should have at least 65% (or GPA o 6.5) for all of his/her college degrees.

Desired experience

• Managing a multi-disciplinary team engaged in Research and Development. The person will also contribute to overall project management including task allocation, following work progress, project documentation etc.
• Good knowledge of acoustics
• Good knowledge of signal processing techniques.
• Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis.
• Experience in use of sensors such as microphones, accelerometers, and devices such as acoustic transducers.
• Very good knowledge of MATLAB.
• Experience in product new design and development
• Strong command in oral and written English.

Term of Appointment

One year. The term may be extended if required.

Salary Range

Consolidated salary of Rs. 56,000 + HRA (16%) as per Institute norms
