Job Description for Data Modeller & Power BI Analyst

Name of Post: Technical Assistant

Number of positions: One

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s (B.E. or B.Tech. or B.Sc.) in computer/data science/engineering.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in data preparation, data gateway, and data warehousing projects.
  • 3+ years of hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience (using RDBMS, dimensional, NoSQL data platform technologies, and ETL and data ingestion protocols).
  • Who is having have hands on experience in data analytical tool such as Power BI (configuration and analysis).
  • Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms in multi-data-centre contexts required.
  • Good knowledge of metadata management, data modelling, and related tools.
  • Understanding of JavaScript, Python, R, CSS, SQL, and other JavaScript libraries.
  • Be experienced in tools and systems on MS SQL Server BI Stack, including SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, MDX, Power BI, and DAX.
  • Be able to quickly shape data into reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Have knowledge of database fundamentals such as multidimensional database design, relational database design.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement business and IT data requirements through new data strategies and designs across all data platforms (relational, dimensional, and NoSQL) and data tools (reporting, visualization, analytics, and machine learning).
  • Work with business and application/solution teams to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual/logical/physical data models.
  • Define and govern data modelling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development for enterprise data models.
  • Identify the architecture, infrastructure, and interfaces to data sources, tools supporting automated data loads, security concerns, analytic models, and data visualization.
  • Work proactively and independently to address project requirements and articulate issues/challenges to reduce project delivery risks.
  • Build automated reports and dashboards with the help of Power BI reporting tools.

Salary: Rs. 40,000 - Rs. 55,000 /- p.m (based on qualification and experience).

Duration of appointment: 2 Year Contract or till end of Project whichever is earlier.
