Applications are invited for two temporary positions of Project Mechanic in an MoEd sponsored project at the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Kanpur.
Project Mechanic (02)
Minimum Qualification: High School + ITI or High School + 5 Years relevant experience
Desirable work experience: 5 to 6 years of experience of working in chemical engineering laboratory doing research on rubber and hydrogel like materials. Knowledge and skill of working with polymeric solid/liquid film formation, operation of film forming machines, generation of self-assembled monolayer (SAM), surface modification techniques, knowledge and experience of operating various workshop facilities like lathe, milling, drilling and vertical cutting machine.
Salary Range: 8400-700-21000
The position is purely temporary, and it is applicable till the end of the project.
