Applications are invited for the post of Project Associate for the project titled Fiber-optic hydrophone sensor array for underwater surveillanc, sponsored by Naval Research Board (NRB/015/508/2015-258). This position is purely temporary and contractual with an initial 6 month period later to be extended subject to satisfactory performance.
Number of Positions: 01
Remuneration: Rs. 15000/- per month with 10% revision per year.
Minimum Qualification: B. Tech/B.E in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Msc with specialization in Optics/Photonics Requirements: The candidate should be proficient in VHDL/Verilog programming, electronic circuits, DSP, PCB design, C/C++/Matlab programming. Must also have interest in carrying out experimental work in optics/photonics/FPGA
Responsibilities: Conduct research under the guidance of the involved faculty members: summarizing the background literature, understanding the theoretical background carrying out experiments, and compiling and analysing the data.
Drafting briefing statements, reports, commentaries and presentation decks.
Other duties as required by the project.
