Applications invited for Senior Research Fellow (SRF) on project CSIR/ChE/2014382: Synthesis of PVA-starch polymeric composite in-situ doped with metal nanoparticles-dispersed carbon micro/nanofibers for seed germination and plant growth applications.

One Post: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Duration: For twelve months (October 2016 - September 2017)

Essentials: MSc/BE/BTech or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks and one publication in SCI journal and should have completed at least two years of post MSc/BE/BTech research experience, or M.Tech/ME or equivalent degree in engineering/technology with at least 60% marks.

Age limit: The upper age limit for applying for SRF shall be 32 years. The upper age limit is relaxable upto five years in case of SC/ST/OBC/physically handicapped and female candidate. 

Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates having M.Sc. degrees in biological sciences and/or biotechnology with three years of post-M.Sc. experience, or M. Tech with one year of post-M. Tech experience working in the academic research laboratories. The candidate should be familiar with commonly used chemical reactors.

Salary Range: Salary: Rs. 28000 per month as per CSIR norms.
