Nominations are invited for the following FOUR recently established Endowed Faculty Chair positions:

1. USV Chair,
2. Sajani Kumar Roy Memorial Chair,
3. Arun Kumar Chair, and
4. Satish Chandra Agarwal Chair.

All these Chair positions are for existing faculty members at IITK who are professors.

The aim of these Chairs is to recognize and honour those faculty members who, through their work at IITK, have achieved excellence.

The first (viz., USV) Chair is for a faculty member from our science departments, i.e., from BSBE, Chemistry, Physics or from Mathematics & Statistics Department. The other three chairs are NOT specific to any Deparment or area.

The period of occupation in such a Chair is for a period of three years at a time.

Nominations are invited for all these Chairs from:

(a) Faculty members (past or present) of IIT Kanpur,
(b) Non-IITK faculty members of the present Academic Senate,
(c) Members of BOG of IIT Kanpur.

Please send to DOFA your nomination in hard-copy after obtaining the consent of the person whom you're nominating. An individual is welcome to send more than one nominations. Please remember that the nominations are to be restricted to existing professors at IITK. Nominations received will be acknowledged by DOFA.
