Applications are invited for the posts of Assistant Project Manager in the Office of Faculty Affairs at IIT Kanpur. Post is purely temporary and contractual basis for a period of one year till the end of project, whichever is earlier. Details of requirement are as below:

Scale of pay: Rs. 13200-1100-33000

Minimum Qualification:

Post Graduate (MBA/ MCA/M.Com./ M.Sc./ M.A.)
OR
Graduate (B.Sc./ B.A./B.Com. BBA/ BCA) + 3 year of relevant experience.

Desirable Experience: Candidates should have requisite experience of the following areas:

  • Faculty Standing committee meeting
  • Regularization, upgradation & confirmation
  • Appointment/extension of Postdoctoral fellows, Visiting Faculty, Adjunct Professors
  • Emeritus Fellowship
  • Police Verification Report/ follow up
  • Compilation of BoG data and decisions
  • Assistance in Organising DFAC + IFAC meetings
  • Assistance in Faculty Selection Committee meeting
  • Joining related works
  • Preparation of Office-orders, NoCs etc
  • Service related certificate
  • Dispatch and Filing
  • Maintaining personal files
  • Upgradation of important files
