Applications are invited for Indian citizens for admission
to the Ph.d. programmes for the session commencing from December
M.Tech./ME./M.Sc.(Engg.) degree in the respective or allied
area. The candidates with Bachelor's degree in Engineering/
Technology or Master's degree in Sciences in an allied area
with exceptional academic record and having a valid GATE score
may also apply. For Ph.D. in BSBE, candidate with MBBS, B.Pharma
or M.Pharma Degree may also apply. Candidate with Master's
degree in Management may apply for Ph.D. in Industrial and
Management Engineering (IME).
& HSS): M.Sc./M.A.
Degree in respective or allied area with a valid GATE/UGC/CSIR
to the PhD programme of the Mechanical Engineering Department

Financial aid (Assistantship/Scholarship) is available for
Ph.D students. Admission for Sponsored and Part time candidates
is also open. Sponsored / Part-time candidate are not required
to qualify GATE.

08, 2013 free of cost. The hard copy of Application
form & Information Brouchure will be made available from
October 14, 2013.
Separate application must be filled for each programme.
Reservations (for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PD shall apply as per Government
of India rules. The certificate for the same must be in the

payable at Kanpur.
