Role of a Student Guide Their main work is to act both as a friend and a senior towards their counselees. Thus, they should build up a strong long-lasting relationship with their counselees. They also act as a functional link between their counselees and their Faculty Guardians. Student Guides are expected to work with full dedication and sincerity guiding the junior students through their own experiences on the campus. They need to be understanding towards the problems their counselees may face and should be able to guide them accordingly. Workshops are conducted to help them understand their role in a better way. Eligibility However, the student should have no outstanding backlog and should satisfy the above CPI criterion at the end of the summers 2010. Students who are not eligible to apply now, but satisfy the criteria after the summers 2010 can contact us and their case will considered, in the case of vacancies.
