Railway Concession


The Railway Concession Voucher is issued to all the Bonafide students of the Institute for going to their hometowns or educational tours

The Institute, however, prescribes a age limit for the same:
  • 27 years in the case of SC/ST students
  • 25 years in the case of other students
Concession Vouchers for break journey are also available. A single ticket from source to destination station should be purchased in that case

Steps
  • The Concession Vouchers are issued by the DOSA office a few days before the vacations. Intimations and Office orders are mailed accordingly
  • Interested students have to collect concession vouchers from the DOSA office before purchase of ticket
  • The students have to carry their updated Institute I-Card at the time of issue of concession vouchers, purchase of tickets and during the journey
  • PG students have to submit the leave application, duly sanctioned by their respective departments for obtaining Railway Concession Vouchers
  • The students are advised to take concession voucher in-group of 3 or 4 for the same station
