Annual BSBE Winter Workshop-2014 [Neurobiology of Disorders]

About the Workshop:

The BSBE department is organizing this annual workshop series to expose budding scientists to advances in contemporary topics in biosciences and bioengineering. The three day workshop includes popular lectures, scientific talks, and a problem-solving session. This year, with the theme "Neurobiology of Disorders", the workshop will provide an overview on molecular, physiological and cognitive aspects of neurological systems and their dysfunctions. Who Can Apply?

Final year students of the 4-year undergraduate programs (B.E/B.Tech/MBBS/Integrated M.Sc, etc) or the 2-year master programs (M.Sc/M.Tech/ME) are eligible to apply for the workshop. This year we plan to accommodate 50 students. Selection will be based on a letter of personal motivation (max. 2 pages) stating why you should be admitted. About the Venue:

The workshop will be held at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Applicants admitted to this workshop are expected stay within the institute campus. Kanpur is well connected to other parts of the country. For more details, check here.
