Few of the experiments we have conducted or planned to conduct

We are working on the Tmote-sky motes from Mote-iv Corp. So all our experiments are done on tmotes

1) The first of the experiments done was to the transmission range of the motes.

The experiment was done on a Air-Field stretch to check the maximum range. We used just 2 nodes , one running TOSBase connected to the computer. The other node was running. a simple packet generator which was generating packets at a rate of one packet per second

Results : Max Range was found to be around 110m

2) To check the lqi and strength values at different distances.

3) To check range of motes with different antenna, directional, omni directional, sector etc

4) To check the lqi and strength values at different distances for different antenna.
